Namdar Homayounfar

I am a research scientist at Uber ATG Toronto and a PhD candidate in Statistical Sciences at University of Toronto both under the supervision of Prof. Raquel Urtasun.

Prior to that, I obtained a MSc in Statistical Sciences at University of Toronto and a BSc in Probability and Statistics at McGill University.

Research

My general research interests include machine learning and computer vision and in particular their applications in autononmous driving. During my PhD, I have focused on developing deep structured models for the task of scalable HD mapping for autonomous cars.
